Roxanne has grown up in South Australia in national Road Train Transport family business, driving road trains from a very young age, to recently taking time out of government consultancy to enjoy jumping back in a truck driving triple road trains Adelaide to Darwin, and Adelaide to Perth. The reason for initiating a new group for transport sector is personal passion growing up in farming and a truckie environment, strong believer in ‘without trucks our nation does stop’, and there are so many complexities in the industry, all require a united front to develop a strong group to lobby to government with real data and knowledge from everyone joining this group to give everyone a voice.
Previously, highly focused and driven with over 20 years’ experience as an embedded consultant for highly visible and business critical Reform, Change Management, Programs and Projects for State and Federal Government(s), industry bodies and peak associations and bodies. Diversity in Private and Public Sectors as a Senior Executive Leadership developing Strategy, People, Finance, Risk Mitigation, Quality Assurance, Innovation and Business Processes (reducing Red Tape) and Transformation of streamlined business processes.
Extensive diversity across 4 states in Australia with Corporate Head Offices, in field Operations with Subject Matter Experts, Cultural understanding, and Professional Cultures unionised and non-unionised, English as Second Language, Policy and New Legislation(s). My leadership has led Transport (including for the NSW RMS Heavy Vehicle Regulators), Health, Education Sectors, Agriculture, Immigration, Australian Boarder Force, Information Technology, Enforcement and across Indigenous Communities, for government and private sector stakeholders.
Lead building relationships with Ministers Ministerial Officer, CEO, Executive and coal face employees, building Continuous Improvements for sustainability, highly experienced at building business capability with a vision to create a stronger economy with government, industry and stakeholder relationships. My management of reform / transformation for organizational change is well established gained from 20 years working nationally in a global market, with expertise in extremely challenging complex environments.
Throughout my career I have created and drawn upon an extensive network of collaborators across governments, industry leaders, business operators and employees engaged in various level of employment. Held Board positions and been a finalist in Telstra Business Woman of the Year.
